The 2025 season at the Heartland Events Center has been marked by a diverse array of events that showcased the venue's versatility and appeal to the community. The year kicked off with the Heartland Hoops Classic on February 15, bringing together top high school basketball talent for a day of competitive action. Shortly after, the arena hosted Rodeo Grand Island on February 28 and March 1, featuring PRCA-sanctioned events such as bull riding, barrel racing, and steer wrestling, along with pyrotechnics and rodeo queens, offering family-friendly entertainment . On March 19, the Harlem Globetrotters returned for their 2025 World Tour, delighting fans with high-flying dunks, trick shots, and interactive challenges against the Washington Generals. 2024 Event Photo Galleries

The year began with the Rodeo Grand Island in February, featuring the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour and a full slate of rodeo events, drawing top-tier competitors and fans from across the region . In August, the venue hosted a series of concerts, including Casting Crowns on August 25, Little River Band on August 27, and Larry, Steve & Rudy: The Gatlin Brothers with Lorrie Morgan on August 26, offering a diverse musical lineup for attendees . The Harlem Globetrotters returned to Grand Island on March 19, delivering their signature blend of basketball and entertainment to a delighted audience . The year concluded with a Chris Janson concert on November 2, bringing the country music star to the Heartland Events Center for an evening of hits and fan favorites.

The year kicked off with the Rodeo Grand Island in February, offering thrilling rodeo action with top competitors in bull riding, barrel racing, and more. As spring arrived, the Harlem Globetrotters brought their high-flying basketball and family-friendly entertainment to the venue in March. The Nebraska State Fair, a long-standing tradition, filled the venue with concerts, 4-H competitions, and an array of food and fun in late summer. In addition to these major events, the Monster Truck Nationals in September wowed fans with powerful vehicles performing stunts and tricks. Throughout 2023, the Heartland Events Center served as a hub for music, sports, and community gatherings, offering a variety of entertainment that resonated with people of all ages.

Later in January, the Monster Truck Chaos event on January 29 thrilled audiences with high-flying stunts and powerful vehicles. In March, the venue hosted the PRCA Rodeo Grand Island on February 25 and 26, featuring professional rodeo athletes competing in events like bull riding and barrel racing. The Harlem Globetrotters returned, delighting fans with their signature blend of basketball and comedy. As summer approached, the Nebraska State Fair brought a variety of attractions, including concerts, livestock shows, and carnival rides. In June, classic rock enthusiasts were treated to a performance by ZZ Top on June 22. The year concluded with the festive sounds of Mannheim Steamroller Christmas on December 21, wrapping up a memorable year of events at the Heartland Events Center.

The Central Nebraska Gun Show took place in October, showcasing firearm exhibitors and collectors. Throughout the year, the Heartland Events Center continued to serve as a vital entertainment hub for the region, providing a space for both large-scale and community-centered events.

The PJ Masks Live! show brought excitement to families on March 6, offering a fun, interactive experience for young fans. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the Heartland Events Center continued to serve as a central hub for entertainment and community events, adapting to the circumstances to provide memorable experiences for attendees.

The year featured a variety of concerts, community events, and family-friendly activities that highlighted the venue's versatility. Notable performances included Hairball on January 18, a high-energy tribute band experience, and Josh Turner on July 12, bringing his signature country sound to the stage. The Nebraska State Fair in late August transformed the venue into a hub of activity, with concerts such as Zach Williams on August 29 and The Four Tops on July 13, offering a mix of contemporary Christian and classic Motown music.

The Nebraska Danger indoor football team also made the Heartland Events Center their home in 2019, bringing thrilling arena football action to the venue, including games that energized local sports fans throughout the season.
