The Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and the Fire School Committee is hosting its 88th-Annual Nebraska Fire School! The Fire School Committee, the NSVFA Board, the State Fire Marshall’s Training Division and countless others have worked hard to bring the training, fellowship, food and vendor connections that have made Fire School so famous. This year’s school will consist of 33 classes in all phases of firemanship, fire investigation, rescue, fire safety, leadership, officer training, fire prevention and EMS. The school is once again being held at the Heartland Events Center and Fonner Park Campus as well as other sites in and around Grand Island.
